just watched it on youtube myself and i can't believe my eyes the site cut the very last shot of the movie!! the last shot has a huge bottle face with a writing on a background saying ' let your imagination play!'

i had difficulty with the convertion of the sound when making the movie so i had to research through all the options to make it work. at the beginning of the video its slightly out of time ( i don't quite know how it happened ) but i've corrected it the best i could. the quality might seem a bit poor but at least it has a sound. It was the most enjoyable project! and i am saddened in some ways that it has come to the end. i hope you enjoy the final piece :D thank you :D

just a rough story board i drew for my Ad plan. the idea it self is very simple but i am hoping that at the same time it will be effective. i wonder how many bottles in total i am going to show in my advert.

here are some sample drawings for my project. i started from just looking and studying the drink bottle, trying to think of different ideas which would suit the best for my chosen product. at the end i came up with idea of happy bottles singing and dancing. you can't create something serious when the drink itself tastes like lemonade! it just can not be done !

research

i have done the research on the brand. and i must say that it is being advertised but mainly on posters and different objects but not on tv. i have tried researching the past adverts on google, yahoo, and youtube websites but found nothing.

lesson notes.

i tried to write down every technique that i might need to create my advert. i have also brain stormed different ideas for the ad. some of them were quiet terrible but some of them were good i thought.

VK advert sample drawing 1

i want the animation to be simple ( in my humble opinion less is more), catchy and fun! i want it to be aimed to a large number of audience.

the rough sript so far: camera moves through the countless bottles of VK and suddenly stops on a middle bottle; it opens its eyes; mic appears in front of it and music starts in a back ground Eifell 65- I'm blue ( i think its a very catchy tune and it will suit well to what i'm going to present); camera zooms in to the bottle; the caracter now at the front with the fellow bottles standing in a background; it sings the tune with all the bottles eventually start backsinging with it. music ends, writing appears ' VK Blue - let your imagination play!'

now i just have to do my best to pull the idea off! :D

the product i have chosen for my animated advert is VK Blue drink. i always thought it was the brilliant drink but it always been exsisting under the shadow of WKD Blue drink. as i was going to clubs most people were buying WKD thinking VK Blue was a not so cheap copy. Most of people don't even know that it tastes, looks completely different. I think its brilliant drink not to mention that it tastes like lemonade! and i want to create an advert that will appeal to crown! in my opinion it needs to be re introduced to the public again. and thats what i am planning to do! i am planning to re introduce it in a best possible way using animation!
